In the third century, two men ventured into the barren Egyptian desert, lived in caves and became - little to their knowledge - the first Christian monks. They finally met each other after sixty years of solitude. They later became known to the world as St. Antony and St. Paul the hermit.
Desert Stars is a retelling of their stories through two present-day hermit monks we found living in caves in the desert of Egypt and recounting the miracles of their existence.
